" Weekly sessions at Pilates Works Studio are an essential part of my wellbeing. These sessions build and maintain my core strength and really help my posture and flexibility. I enjoy using the equipment with the expert teachers on hand ensuring I get maximum benefit. My sessions are fun, challenging and very beneficial as my family, friends and even my doctor confirm. I’ve been doing Pilates for 20 years now and Pilates Works Studio in Weybridge is by far the best studio I have ever frequented. "
It is with an even heavier heart than last March that I write this email. Pilates Works Studio will close once again at midnight on Wednesday 4th November 2020.
While I continue to fight against the umbrella we fall under (gyms) I must do what at this moment in time is my legal and moral responsibility. So, for the majority of clients the door will be closed until Wednesday 2nd December 2020.
The good news this time round is that we are prepared to teach you on Zoom so all Mat classes you currently attend at the studio will automatically be transferred to Zoom. You will receive an email with the link for your given class shortly and hopefully we will be open again to finish the term in house. For those of you that chose not to do Zoom classes during the last lockdown please really try them this time round. You will be surprised how excellent they are, and it is so important to keep moving over the next four weeks. Should anyone need help setting Zoom up please do not hesitate to call the studio. We will talk you through the steps, so you are comfortable with what you need to do.
To all our reformer clients I am afraid classes will not run until we reopen. All monies prepaid will be held on account and of course you are welcome to use some of this money to switch to a Zoom Mat class in the interim. Please call the studio if you wish to make this switch as soon as possible.
Clients that see Jeremy, Jané or Katie in a strictly 1:1 rehabilitation capacity who have been referred by a clinician can continue to see them in the studio. This is because they are Chartered Physiotherapists utilising their physiotherapy skills in your Pilates rehabilitation sessions. Louise will contact those of you over the next few days to find out if you wish to come to the studio to continue your rehabilitation. We sincerely hope you will. Alternatively you can continue your sessions on Zoom for now.
To all other clients that have 1:1 sessions with other teachers we really encourage you to continue to have these via zoom. All the teachers are highly skilled in knowing how to bring out the very best in your body via this medium and can replicate a lot of what you do on the equipment on your Mat at home. Our aim is to keep everyone moving while we are in lockdown once again.
I did hope that I would never have to write this email. Our Infection Control Protocol has been second to none and my teachers have worked so hard to keep each and every one of you safe in the studio. I am so proud of them and thank them for the support they continue to give to Jeremy and myself on a daily basis.
But most importantly I wish to thank each one of our clients for your support over the last six months. It really is much appreciated. Your enthusiasm for and loyalty to the studio keeps us all going. We cannot wait to welcome you all back in person once again when the doors reopen in December.
If any of you have any queries, please do not hesitate to call the studio. Louise will be at your disposal to answer any questions you may have or to amend the studio diary.
