This is a 6 week class. This class is perfect for anyone who spends lots of time at a desk, feels their balance isn’t what it was, wants to improve muscular strength and bone density or just wants to feel more upright and aligned in everyday life. The passage of time and the rigours of daily life can leave us all feeling more stooped and tight across our neck, chest and shoulders. Increasingly longevity research is highlighting the importance of building and maintaining muscle mass as we age. It is also known that resistance work is essential to improving the quality of our bone density as our hormone balances shift through life. We have designed this Pilates class to help you stand taller and feel stronger. It’s about building strength from the inside out, with a focus on muscle development and bone density balance and posture optimisation. It will be taught by a very experienced teacher who is also a Chartered Physiotherapist and in a small group with a maximum of 8 people.
