Summer / Men’s Reformer – F (Short Course)

This is a 5 week class. This class on the Reformer will be taught at a level that will challenge, strengthen and stretch each attendee whilst addressing some of the specific joints and muscle groups that are points of weakness and strain unique to the male body. It will aim to improve each client’s physical condition seeking to reduce day-to-day aches and pains whilst enhancing performance and physicality for sport and hobbies. This class is an intermediate class suited to clients who have had some prior Pilates experience. Maximum of 4 participants. You are very welcome to join a class once the term has commenced.

Summer Holiday / Silver Swans® Ballet – M

This is a 5 week class.  We are excited to introduce a ballet exercise class specifically designed by the Royal Academy of Dance based on research into best exercise practice for older people. These classes maintain the Pilates principles of breath, balance and flowing movement to create elegant poise and wonderful posture.  They improve core strength and balance and can help with osteoporosis and falls prevention. Importantly they are sociable and fun.  Although designed for the over 55s, everyone is welcome. Ballet shoes are not essential for your first session but your teacher will guide you should you love it so much that you decide to enrol for the term. Maximum of 10 participants. Holiday term

Summer Holiday / Reformer 2/3 – M

This is a 5 week class. These Reformer Pilates classes are for those who have had at least 20 sessions on the Reformer either privately or in groups. Movement will become more dynamic and challenging working with a moving platform whilst patterning more complex movement. They are progressively fast in tempo and increasingly flowing in transitions demanding really good technique. Maximum of 4 participants. You are very welcome to join a class once the term has commenced.
